Im going to show my kids, when I have them, how there are levers inside trunks now you can pull so if you get locked inside one it'll open. You never know if something like this happens!
I don't think I've ever seen a white congregation sing like that! Cool beans :)
I'm so glad the girls ended up being ok, but I don't know who upsets me more. The neighbor boy who saw them girls playing in the trunk and didn't try to stop them or at least tell their mom or the mom who let her young children play outside, unsupervised, in the baking heat. I am a parent of an almost nine yr old boy and I would never let him play out in almost 100 degree heat. Now come on.. If the heat is bad enough to knock mom back what do you think it would do to them girls?
The same goes for this never leave your child alone in the car!
MOM 1:25 1:40 1:59 2:50.
1:36 2:00 TRUNK LOCK KHALA .
Well I am glad that your okay and that you have learned things from what happen here. I hope that no parents have to learn these lessons but a lot of us do.
i love these volunteer rescue workers, they really take time out of their lives to help friends and family in a time of crisis
My younger brother once got trapped in a car trunk, but luckily, it wasn't quite as hot out (85 degrees I think) and he was found rather quickly. But this segment reminded me of that and, hence, was imprinted in my mind more than most of the other ones (since I remember being upset over what might have happened had he not been found before he was) Anyway, glad to know you're doing fine today, Gizelle :)
Wow...that little girl's glasses are huge.
This is so neat! I am the girl who played Gizelle in this episode of Rescue 911. I can't believe its on youtube!
thoughs kids should have stoped them and opened the trunk right when they saw them go in there
I'll check that.
You might want to watch some of these, then... 119 - "Runaway Boxcars" 120 - "Boston" 202 - "Scuba Cave" 520 - "Butane Huffing" 613 - "Repentant Drunk Driver"
You might be thinking of Episode 412 (not 521) which had "911 Trunk Trapped Tot".
When I was 8, I was feeling like I was old enough to be unsupervised whilst my parents left, and luckily, I was.
Okay the crazy thing is I am at work and bored and decided I wanted to see this video. After looking online for like an hour I found it. This brings back a lot of memories but not as clear as what I see on this screen. My name is Gizelle Fortenberry. I am the little girl with the glasses. I am now 21 years old married with a 2 year old son. The only thing I can comment is I am glad you were able to see this and make better desicions in the furture with your little ones. I know I am!
why would she leave her car unlocked in the first place or even let 2 little kids play outside w/o any parent/gaurdian watching them the boy should of told the girls to not do that
its the catholic prayer... she said "astertheromanygano". when i had meningitus my mother gave me the same prayer...
People have to lock their cars
userhaker94 - she was praying in tongues!
LOCK YOUR CARS
She said praying in tongues, so it's obviously a Biblical language. My guess would be Hebrew.
That sounded like Latin. Honestly, if she had been putting cold water soaked rags and placing them on the neck, arm pits, head and groin areas of the girls instead of praying she would have been doing much more good for them. I would have also helped to have taken the girl's clothes off. The less area that has clothes on it is more area for the body heat to release.
I read a story of a little boy who died after squeezing his body into an old microwave.
